The Holy Quran 16:4 — Surah An-Nahl

Arabic text

خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ

Translation

He created man from a drop of fluid (and then developed him into an adult) yet (despite knowing this) man is suddenly an open opponent (who contests the fact that Allaah can resurrect him on the Day of Qiyaamah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

خَلَق الإنسان من ماء مهين فإذا به يَقْوى ويغترُّ، فيصبح شديد الخصومة والجدال لربه في إنكار البعث، وغير ذلك، كقوله: {مَنْ يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ} ، ونسي الله الذي خلقه من العدم.
