The Holy Quran 16:38 — Surah An-Nahl

Arabic text

وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ ۙ لَا يَبْعَثُ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَمُوتُ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Translation

They (the Kuffaar) swear their most solemn oaths by Allaah that Allaah will never resurrect the dead. No (Allaah shall certainly resurrect them) ! It (resurrection) is indeed a resolute promise that Allaah has made, but most people do not know.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وحلف هؤلاء المشركون بالله أيمانًا مغلَّظة أن الله لا يبعث مَن يموت بعدما بَلِيَ وتفرَّق، بلى سيبعثهم الله حتمًا، وعدًا عليه حقًا، ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون قدرة الله على البعث، فينكرونه.
