The Holy Quran 16:34 — Surah An-Nahl

Arabic text

فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

So they received the punishment of their evil acts and (the evil consequences of) their mockery surrounded them.

فنزلت بهم عقوبة ذنوبهم التي عملوها، وأحاط بهم العذاب الذي كانوا يسخرون منه.
