The Holy Quran 15:66 — Surah Al-Hijr

Arabic text

وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ

Translation

We informed him of Our decision that the roots of these people shall be severed by the morning (they will all be destroyed without trace by the morning).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وأوحينا إلى لوط أن قومك مستأصَلون بالهلاك عن آخرهم عند طلوع الصبح.
