The Holy Quran 13:8 — Surah Ar-Ra'd

Arabic text

ٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ ٱلْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ ۖ وَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ عِندَهُۥ بِمِقْدَارٍ

Translation

Allaah knows what every female bears (He knows the gender, the appearance, the temperament and the future of the unborn child) and (He knows) the shortages and excesses in the womb (He knows whether the mother will carry for the full term and what development lacks or progresses in the womb). Everything is perfectly stipulated (proportioned) with Him (nothing can exceed or be less than the period and specifications He sets).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الله تعالى يعلم ما تحمل كلُّ أنثى في بطنها، أذكر هو أم أنثى؟ وشقي هو أم سعيد؟ ويعلم ما تنقصه الأرحام، فيسقط أو يولد قبل تسعة أشهر، وما يزيد حمله عليها. وكل شيء مقدَّر عند الله بمقدار من النقصان أو الزيادة لا يتجاوزه.
