The Holy Quran 13:34 — Surah Ar-Ra'd

Arabic text

لَّهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٍ

Translation

(Because of their stubbornness,) They shall suffer punishment in this world, and the punishment of the Aakhirah is worse. There shall be no saviour for (to defend) them from (the punishment of) Allaah.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

لهؤلاء الكفار الصادين عن سبيل الله عذاب شاق في الحياة الدنيا بالقتل والأسر والخزي، ولَعذابهم في الآخرة أثقل وأشد، وليس لهم مانع يمنعهم من عذاب الله.
