The Holy Quran 13:30 — Surah Ar-Ra'd

Arabic text

كَذَٰلِكَ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ فِىٓ أُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهَآ أُمَمٌ لِّتَتْلُوَا۟ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ مَتَابِ

Translation

In a like manner (just as We have sent other Ambiyaa عليه الصلاة والسلام to this world) have We sent you (O Muhammad ﷺ) among a nation before whom many nations have passed, so that you may recite to them that (Qur'aan) which We have revealed to you, while they do not (they refuse to) believe in Ar Rahmaan ("The Most Merciful"). Say (to them), "He is my Rabb. There is no Ilaah but Him. Only on Him do I rely and towards Him do I turn."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

كما أرسلنا المرسلين قبلك أرسلناك -أيها الرسول- في أمة قد مضت مِن قبلها أمم المرسلين; لتتلو على هذه الأمة القرآن المنزل عليك، وحال قومك الجحود بوحدانية الرحمن، قل لهم -أيها الرسول-: الرحمن الذي لم تتخذوه إلهًا واحدًا هو ربي وحده لا معبود بحق سواه، عليه اعتمدت ووثقت، وإليه مرجعي وإنابتي.
