The Holy Quran 13:27 — Surah Ar-Ra'd

Arabic text

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ أَنَابَ

Translation

The Kuffaar say, "Why is a sign (a miracle of our choice) not sent to him (Rasulullaah ﷺ) from his Rabb?" Say, “Allaah sends astray whom He wills (regardless of whether they see miracles or not. Your request for miracles will therefore not benefit you at all) and guides towards Him whoever turns to Him (whoever desires to be guided)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ويقول الكفار عنادًا: هلا أُنزل على محمد معجزة محسوسة كمعجزة موسى وعيسى. قل لهم: إن الله يضل مَن يشاء من المعاندين عن الهداية ولا تنفعه المعجزات، ويهدي إلى دينه الحق مَن رجع إليه وطلب رضوانه.
