The Holy Quran 12:44 — Surah Yusuf

Arabic text

قَالُوٓا۟ أَضْغَـٰثُ أَحْلَـٰمٍ ۖ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِتَأْوِيلِ ٱلْأَحْلَـٰمِ بِعَـٰلِمِينَ

Translation

(Unable to understand the meaning of the dream) They replied, "These are only confused dreams (nightmares). We have no knowledge concerning the interpretation of confused dreams."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قالوا: رؤياك هذه أخلاط أحلام لا تأويل لها، وما نحن بتفسير الأحلام بعالمين.
