The Holy Quran 11:80 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِى بِكُمْ قُوَّةً أَوْ ءَاوِىٓ إِلَىٰ رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ

Translation

He said, "If only I had some might against you or (if only) I could seek protection from a strong pillar (a powerful tribe)."

قال لهم حين أبوا إلا فعل الفاحشة: لو أن لي بكم قوة وأنصارًا معي، أو أركَن إلى عشيرة تمنعني منكم، لَحُلْتُ بينكم وبين ما تريدون.
