The Holy Quran 11:6 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

۞ وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا ۚ كُلٌّ فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ

Translation

The responsibility of sustaining every creature on earth rests with Allaah. He knows the place where they will stay (for a longer period Jannah or Jahannam) and the place where they will be kept in trust (for a shorter period-the world/the grave). Everything is (recorded) in the Clear Book (the "Lowhul Mahfoodh").

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

لقد تكفَّل الله برزق جميع ما دبَّ على وجه الأرض، تفضلا منه، ويعلم مكان استقراره في حياته وبعد موته، ويعلم الموضع الذي يموت فيه، كل ذلك مكتوب في كتاب عند الله مبين عن جميع ذلك.
