The Holy Quran 11:109 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

فَلَا تَكُ فِى مِرْيَةٍ مِّمَّا يَعْبُدُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ۚ مَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا كَمَا يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُهُم مِّن قَبْلُ ۚ وَإِنَّا لَمُوَفُّوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَنقُوصٍ

Translation

So do not be in doubt about what (idols and false gods) these people worship (worshipping their gods will certainly earn them Allaah's punishment). They merely worship as their forefathers worshipped before (and will therefore suffer the same fate as their forefathers). Verily We shall grant them their full share (of punishment) without deduction (reprieve).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فلا تكن -أيها الرسول- في شك من بطلان ما يعبد هؤلاء المشركون من قومك، ما يعبدون من الأوثان إلا مثل ما يعبد آباؤهم من قبل، وإنا لموفوهم ما وعدناهم تاما غير منقوص. وهذا توجيه لجميع الأمة، وإن كان لفظه موجهًا إلى الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلَّم.
